At MUMUTU, we’re a small family-run design studio creating woven blankets that turn everyday comfort into art. We take countless of hours designing patterns, making sure they are uniquely fitting our highest quality, softest textures. Everything we make is designed to bring joy, warmth, and personality into your home.
Each blanket is woven using recycled cotton on jacquard looms, produced ethically in the USA. We work closely with small manufacturers who share our values of sustainability, craftsmanship, and care.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
MUMUTU started around a small kitchen table, with scraps of sketches, color swatches, and a shared dream - to turn comfort into art. What began as a side project between family members quickly grew into a passionate pursuit: creating beautiful, lasting textiles that carry emotion in every thread.
We didn’t come from big industry backgrounds. Instead, we taught ourselves through trial and error, driven by curiosity and a deep respect for craft. Every collection we release is the result of countless hours experimenting with patterns, colors, and textures until everything clicks, until it feels right.
OUR PROCESS
Our process is as thoughtful as the pieces we make. It starts with inspiration from real life — Mediterranean summers, vintage prints, the texture of old family quilts. From there, we sketch ideas on paper, build mock-ups, and fine-tune the smallest details until a story begins to emerge.
Nothing we make is rushed. Every design is created to be lived with — loved, stained with memories, wrapped around someone you care about.
